THE ALUMNI OF THE CLASS OF '75 HAVE CELEBRATED OUR 50TH BIRTHDAY!!!
A Message from the Planning Committee:
The "Official Over the
Hill" party for the WHHS Class of 1975 on October 6, 2007 at Los Vaqueros was
a success! We had nearly 100 attend our
birthday party, and we saw classmates that had never attended reunions before. We even had a few classmates from other years
join us. Every classmate received a logo
travel mug as a gift. We are delighted
to have such a great response and hope everyone had a good time.
I want to give a special thanks to the ongoing reunion committee
of Connie Sparks Roberson, Kathy French Thornton, Dale Blankinship, Tony
Balthazar, Garry Houston, and our reliable helpers of Robert Koger and Ellen
Pledger Wilkinson. Dale was gracious
enough to haul sound equipment from Granbury and set up at no expense to us as
well as spend weeks putting together a ‘70's music mix for our enjoyment (maybe
we should make copies and use as our next fund raiser!). Garry continues to manage the website at no
charge. Through past fund raising efforts, we were able to purchase a birthday gift
for all and subsidize 50% of the meal to keep the function affordable.
We invite those who attended and took pictures to forward them
to Garry to add to the event webpage.
Robert has graciously provided us with a number of photos already so
check them out. Please keep in touch
with address and email changes and we look forward to our 35th year
reunion in 2010!
